The Resident's Council Meeting
The Resident's Council Meeting is a forum open to anyone who calls the Clinton Hill Cooperative their home. The meeting provides an opportunity for you to meet your neighbors and share your ideas and concerns with members of the Board of Directors and Management and hear about capital projects which are planned, in process and completed. Other topics covered during these meetings are the co-op's budget, house rules, and issues involving the surrounding community.
The meeting is generally held on the last Thursday of every month. The meeting rotates between the North Campus and the South Campus each month. One month it will be in the 210 Clinton Avenue Community Room (North Campus) and the next it will be in the 325 Clinton Avenue Community Room (South Campus). CHAOC residents from both campuses are encouraged to attend the meetings on both campuses.
CHAOC has re-initiated having outside speakers attend these meetings. Mr. Robert Perris, District Manager for Brooklyn's Community Board #2 spoke about community board related issues in our district. There are plans to have some of CHAOC's publicly elected officials attend, members of the NYPD's 88th precint, a speaker on financial planning as well as one on estate planning.
